Natalie Kringoudis is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist, Natural Fertility Educator, Author and You Tea Ambassador.
She recognised the large gap between conventional medicine and supporting wellness. Therefore she developed a unique style to natural fertility – integrating the western medical approach with alternative therapies, Chinese medicine and natural fertility methods.
Natalie has accepted the task of inspiring wellness, not only to those embarking on becoming parents, but equally important to her, educating young women of how their choices shape their reproductive health. She believes this is the key to addressing the infertility epidemic. For Natalie, fertility isn’t just about babies, it’s about outstanding health. Her knowledge in fertility and natural medicine has been featured in many publications, including Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan as well as TV appearances as a wellness expert.
Nat Kringoudis designed Fertility tea to help assist the following women's reproductive ailments
- Fertility difficulties
- Hormonal imbalance
- Painful menstrual cycles
If you're nodding your head at any of the above, then Fertility Tea may be just what you need!
Fertility Tea can certainly be taken whilst pregnant.
The tea will assist in supporting your reproductive system at a time when it is under immense stress.
You can take Fertility Tea whilst on any form of contraception.
Nat Kringoudis highlights though, that if you're using contraception for reasons other than 'prevention measures' i.e. to improve skin or hormone levels - that contraception can act as a 'mask' to such issues. She recommends delving deeper into your health to find a preventive solution to fix the core of your health problems.
One of the most frequently asked questions we find on our inbox is whether or not Fertility Tea is safe to take whilst undergoing assisted conception and IVF. It’s very important not only for peace of mind but to have a great understanding of exactly what we are putting into our bodies, always. This extends to the foods we eat alongside other medications we take. So taking all this into consideration, we are delighted to tell you that Fertility Tea is an extremely safe and effective supportive treatment to sit alongside IVF and assisted conception. Let me tell you why.
The special formulation of ingredients that constitute Fertility Tea individually support hormone health. What’s more, the specific synergy between these plant-based ingredients provides another level of amazing care and nourishment to aid reproductive function. Sounds confusing? It’s really simple. Of the six main ingredients, each one performs a specific therapeutic action to cross off the different needs of your hormones. Combined together, these actions are reinforced. This means that both the reproductive organs and hormones are really well cared for.
Wu Wei Zi is one of the active ingredients contained in Fertility Tea. It is said to “shine light” on the uterus and gently facilitates uterine blood flow to ensure the uterus is well nourished. The early stages of pregnancy relies on plenty of quality blood and nutrient flow to the uterus, making its way to the endometrium or lining of the uterus. Wu Wei Zi is fabulous for this reason and so not only does it boost fertility but equally helps to support pregnancy.
Another active ingredient in Fertility Tea that you may have heard about is the common Go Ji Berry, or as it referred to Gou Qi. You may be able to easily it see because of its bright red colour. It is great to nourish and purify the blood. In Chinese Medicine we believe, maximum body function can be carried out on a day-to-day basis when blood is in abundance. In TCM, when blood is deficient it can lead to a host of issues including missing periods (amenorrhea), headaches, dizziness, fatigue amongst others. By supplementing and nourishing blood, the menstrual cycle can be well looked after.
Fertility Tea also contains a small amount of Bo He – mint. Peppermint nicely ties this formula together alongside Green Tea, to really boost the therapeutic action of cleaning up the body (think antioxidants which go about addressing damage of daily living). Mint gently moves Qi or ‘energy’ (aka nutrients) throughout the body. This is essential to the smooth hormone transitions that occur through the menstrual phase. Each of the ingredients in Fertility Tea is also safely taken alongside regular medications and will support you through your road to conception.
Yes you certainly can!
After you have given birth, Fertility Tea is a fantastic remedy for healing the reproductive organs.
It helps to tone the uterus and revitalise the body which has been drained of nutrients following pregnancy.
Fertility Tea is fantastic for breastfeeding mothers.
As it contains Dandelion Root, this will assist in clearing stagnation in the breasts suffered by some mothers. Stagnation in the breast can cause issues such as Mastitis and breast tenderness.
Nat Kringoudis explains the basics of PCOS and how Fertility Tea is designed to assist;
"PCOS occurs due to hormonal irregularities that lead to many ‘cysts’ or follicles developing on the ovaries. Ordinarily in a healthy functioning woman, only several follicles will be present on the ovaries each month and when the most mature, one develops (commonly known as the ‘egg’), it breaks away from the ovary, resulting in ovulation. For women with PCOS, this doesn’t always happen regularly, as these follicles secrete small amounts of hormone necessary for ovulation.
Since women with PCOS show many of these follicles present on the ovaries (hence the name poly cystic), the hormone levels are elevated and the body can be fooled into thinking it has already ovulated, meaning for some with PCOS, they experience irregular menstrual cycles or amenorrhea. Because these women have higher levels of testosterone in the body due to the hormone imbalance, they can often show other symptoms including weight gain, facial hair and crazy hormones to name a few. It’s also very commonly diagnosed when coming off the pill due to hormone dysfunction. You see, what your reproductive organs require doesn’t necessarily change between PCOS or enhancing fertility. Specific ingredients in the blend contain powerful antioxidants that help to ‘tidy up’ the mess that lifestyles may cause on our reproductive health. In cases of PCOS, specific minerals can be lacking in the body – Fertility Tea contains ingredients that support healthy mineral supplementation. One of my most favorite ingredients in Fertility Tea is Camellia Sinesis, which helps to regulate oestrogen levels which are often imbalanced in women with PCOS. I have a secret weapon when it comes to treating PCOS with your tea blends. My suggestion – first use TinyTeatox for 14 – 28 days to ensure the gut is firing on all cylinders before using your Fertility Tea. This then means that the ingredients in our Fertility Tea formula can be more readily absorbed as they gut has had a good cleanse and is more able to digest and nourish our bodies. Fortunately Chinese Medicine does a fantastic job of treating PCOS. As you have now discovered, the gut is the pivot of our health. When the gut is working well, many ailments begin to disappear. This is because suddenly the digestive system can fulfil its job of assimilating food and pulling the nutrients out to then go on to fuel things like our hormones".
